#1. Schedule time for family. It's just as important as work. Plan ahead. It's so much less stress on your head once the plan is in place. Plan quality time with kids, perhaps homework help and a interesting story before they go to to bed. Quality time with your spouse is critical. Plan that much sort out date months in advance.
#2. Plan for you personal down time. I find my passion and creativity where I zone out of the present. To each his/her own zeal.. Poker nights, fishing trips, a guys only vacation 2-3 days, long bike rides etc. You'd come back completely refreshed.
#4. Hire virtual assistants. To file your reports. Delegate. Unload. Take tax write off on such expenses.
#5. Plan your whole day in advance. Including family time. Do it for the entire week. Plan beyond the business day.
#6. Plan your health. Make it priority. Have a date planned with the doc months in advance.
#7. Plan uninterrupted vacations. Plan in advance. Find a way so no one can reach you. If you have to check your mail then plan a time to do do
#8. Periodically observe where you spend your time in the day; get rid of the garbage stuff. Day you go our yo get a cup of coffee the try eliminate that. Find all stupid things to get rid off. Plan for stupid stuff like doing some random research.
#9.. Turn off the phone for certain times of the day. If its a real emergency they'll find a way to find you.
