A college admissions workshop with SalesKoch is one like that with a whisperer, where we teach you the nuances, so you can navigate on your own. Think of us as a team of virtual guides, experienced parents and students ready to help students and their families to:

* Appreciate the nuances, details of the admissions process

* Plan your journey of selecting a counselor
* Agee on a plan that has buy-in from the student and the parent involved
Armed with this knowledge, the parent and child team searches up an able college admissions counselor to firm up their plan. SalesKoch teams from that point on take a step back. We guide only when asked. We maintain accountability with time to time check-ins. If you use us well, our team could morph into one of your best friends on this journey. You will learn our strengths and weaknesses well. And you will trust us more, value our guidance and authenticity.

You (the student) are the CEO of your career. While others around are involved i.e. teachers, counselors, parents, etc to provide the resources, you are the committed one… the buck stops at you. You have to own your admissions process, and that ownership is key to a lifetime of success. The sooner you get started, and how strategically you think, the better the outcomes you can expect. Via this program, the ScienceGurus team will provide a college admissions map, one of many ways the end goal can be accomplished. Yet a map does not help if one does not know where they want to go. The team can help you channel that path.
High school students generally do not share many details with their parents. This is mostly for fear of being pushed. No one likes to be told. This is a stressful period for both parties and it's a long grueling 18-20 month long process. The stakes are high and the knowledge of the ever-changing is little. This leads to desperation from the parents, wanting to see action, forward progress. The students are already overwhelmed with school, grades, and teenage stuff. They don’t know where to start, which parents deem as inaction and that leads to conflicts. This program aims to fill the knowledge void, so we foster awesome partnerships along the way.
